Chattahoochee Nature Center

Susan and I took Crawford and Caddie and my kids to the nature center in this crazy summertime heat. It actually was somewhat overcast when we started, but didn’t last long. As long as you were under the canopy it was ok, but out in the open was unbearable! The kids did not last long, but lasted just long enough.

I think was Celie’s favorite thing there....a water feature inside. (smart girl)

Off they go on their adventure following Mason as their tour guide with his map. He loved every minute of it. (until he got bit by an ant)

Buie found a cool Hawk feather that we had to put back because it’s illegal to pick them up.

Caddie picked a pretty flower.......

.....and gave it to Celie. Sweet girl holding hands....don’t let them fool you, right Grandma?

It was getting hot and they all wanted to hold Grandma’s hand, or for her to pick them up!

We stopped and took a much needed juice break!

This is where Mason got bit by an ant, so he was try to be tough in this picture.

Crawford, Caddie and Celie were on stage singing “Take me out to the ball game"

And boy was she proud of herself.......not sure what this means, but I think she likes attention.
