Celie was baptized on such a perfect day, Valentine's Day! All her Godparents were there and lots of family to watch as well. Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a memorable event. Rachelle was able to barely make it in from D.C. (because of our snow, not theirs), so thanks to her endless efforts to make sure she was here. We will be sure to remind Celie of how hard she fought to be here for her special day. Beau and Amanda, Celie's other Godparents were able to be there as well. Our meeting and walk through was cancelled the day before, due to snow and so we all had to wing it through the ceremony. Then we had a wonderful brunch at my dad's house afterward.

Let it snow!
Wow, I did not expect the amount of snow we got today, ( I know D.C. we can't hold a candle to what you got), but man was it pretty. Cold, but pretty and now I am done with it. Now it will freeze and I better not lose power. We have a busy weekend....Celie is supposed to get baptized on Sunday, Valentine's Day, so I need the weather to cooperate.

Mason and Buie just checking things out to see if they really want to go out and play in the snow...
.....Mason was brave enough to try out the sled....

.....Buie not a fan of being the target of Mason's snowballs and getting cold and wet....
...Celie on the other hand....loving the snow and being with her daddy....
...Buie was not sure about the sled and this was his only trip down....

...Mason loved playing in the snow, but was ready to get back inside and get warm and play wii again. Buie didn't love it as much, but I chalk that up to no nap today. And Celie did not whimper one time, considering she only slept a little over an hour today.

Happy half birthday Celie

My baby is 6 months old......I can not believe it! She has 2 teeth (which haven't been fun) and she is sitting up. I forget when things are supposed to happen, so it all still amazes me. Of course, you know me, I am sad, but at the same time it is so much fun to watch her grow. And now that she is on formula and real food, boy is she growing fast. She weighed 16lbs, 13oz and was 27" tall at her check up, where she got 2 shots. So that means she is in the 60% for weight and 90% for height. Growing like a weed and I am trying to hold to every baby moment with her, because I felt like with the boys I was looking for the next milestone for them to reach. I want things to slow down with her so I can try and remember them all (impossible I know). I already forget things about the boys and that was only 4 and 2 years ago. She is such a treasure though (even for all those bad days or nights) I think how lucky we are to have our little girl! So fun and you should see the way she is with her daddy (it makes me cry just thinking about it) he can make her laugh from her belly and she smiles every time he come home. He has a special way with her and I am sure she already has him wrapped around her finger. Isn't that what girls are supposed to do?l

Celie being a big girl, eating real food. Mason was so proud to have her sitting in his chair. (Notice the dual runny noses)

Buie wants to be soooo BIG! Everything he does is BIG. Chris was blowing leaves and Buie wants to go out and help, where Mason is afraid and hides inside because of the loud noise. So, Chris let him put on the blower backpack and blow some leaves, it was actually on. Buie loves Chris's shoes because they er BIG. He wants to wear them all day and he tried to walk in them, it's hilarious. When Buie goes to the bathroom......you guessed it....it's BIG. He swings the baseball bat BIG and runs with BIG steps. He is trying to grow up so fast and wants to be so big, we shall see how he turns out. My guess is he is going to be BIG!

Have you ever gone all day without looking at yourself in the mirror? Well, I just got a good look at myself, now that it is the end of the day and WOW! I really need to apologize to Chris, Mason , Buie and Beau for the way I looked today. (I think that was everyone I saw today) Sorry I put you through that, I will do better tomorrow. Good thing I don't take pictures of myself and post them on here.......there is a reason I am in charge of this thing!! It was a long day around here, since mommy did not take anyone outside of the house all day. I hate it when that happens, everyone should go outside at least for a little bit. No excuse, it wasn't even raining. We are working on potty training for Buie and it is a work in progress to say the least. I have to stay on it all day and I have to be careful and watch him all day or else. So, I was cooking dinner, while Chris went to go ride bikes with Beau (by the way, not a good idea to do it at dinner time boys) and trying to keep Celie happy and the boys were tearing my house apart, so I asked them to go play in their room. Well, it was great for me, because I could not hear them and the house seemed so quiet. Well, I reiterate, do NOT leave Buie unsupervised! He got their artwork box(which is under their bed) and they dumped every piece out and artwork all over the floor. I know not the end of the world, but I did have it somewhat organized. The other thing that Chris and I did not notice until after dinner, was that Buie had no pullup on........well, we asked him where it was and he said "somewhere". Huh.....no really, where is your pullup? He said it's in the potty......he tried to go potty and......well, he took off his pullup, I guess tried to go pee and threw his whole pullup in the toilet and pulled his pants back up. Ha, ha......don't be laughing! He is such a piece of work and keeps you on your toes at all times and don't ever take your eyes off him. You think I would learn this by now, somehow he just slips away from me when I am dealing with ALL my other children.
They wore their backpacks that Grandma got them for most of the morning and who knows what they put in there. Maybe I should check?
Buie picked out the fabric he wanted on his navy shirt....

....and so did Mason.
