Wow what a weekend!!! Mom and I did the 3-Day Breast Cancer walk. (60 miles) We started out in the freezing rain and walked from North Point mall to somewhere in Johns Creek. Because of the rain, they relocated us to an empty office park and we got to sleep in a warm, dry office building. Much better than the cold rain, but there was a lot of snoring going on. Day 2 we started from camp and walk all around Duluth and it was a gorgeous day. Cold to start out, but warmed up to 70. That night we spent the night at camp in pink tents. I really thought I was not going to be able to walk the next day. My shins, calves and blisters on one foot hurt so badly. I iced and massaged them and took some meds and went to bed in hopes I would feel better in the morning. After a chilly night (but we were warm in our sleeping bags), I woke up and was definitely sore. The more I walked, the better I felt. So we started walking from Chamblee on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. Somehow my pain was masked with the excitement and adrenaline of the last day. We walked all along Peachtree and even Mason, Buie, Chris, my Dad and my Step mom, kept on thru Buckhead to Piedmont Park for lunch and then to the Congress Center for the finish. I can not express in words the feeling I had to finish the walk with everyone (spectators and finished walkers) cheering you on to the very end. It was very powerful! I highly recommend everyone does this walk one time in your life. It is an indescribable feeling. Enjoy some of the pictures from the walk.

I know this was all about me, but Mason stayed with my dad and BUie stayed with Chris and then his mom.

Mason had a funfilled weekend..........he went to see Disney on Ice on Friday, went to a Ga Tech tailgate and football game on Saturday and then came out to cheering us on before going to Church on Sunday.

Another busy weekend for the Crawford boys. Saturday was the Fall Festival at their school. So many things to do...........they jumped and jumped and jumped some more in the bounce houses. Each time you went in was one ticket (= $1) and you could jump for a few minutes. Well, near then end of the day, Mason jumped for about an hour in one bounce house. He was the only one in there and so they let him play forever. So we cheated a little bit. Mason and Buie and Crawford (cousin) all rode on the ponies, they looked so cute. Check out the pics below. Buie like it so much, he cried when he had to get off and just stood there and watched them go round and round.

Later that afternoon, we went to a birthday party. The boys loved it and just kept running around their pool. A little scary for me, but they had fun. Then off to my dad's for dinner. The boys had fun playing with Oliver, my stepbrother's dog, making smores, and chasing Grandpa. We stayeda little too late and the boys did not get to bed until 10pm. Because of that, they did not wake up until 10 the next day.

After a lazy morning, Chris took them to Grandma's to play with Crawford. They even got to watch the jets flying over from the airshow at Dobbin's. I am sure they had a blast. ( I was not there) On to the next event after Buie's nap..........was dinner at the Gale's. Again the boys had fun playing, but here they played with a bunch of girly toys. They were a little out numbered. Then it was home, bath and bed after their fun filled weekend.

On your mark...get set.....here goes Mason, Parker and Crawford!!

This past weekend the boys were separated and stayed at different houses. (Chris and I went to Athens for the weekend) Buie went to Grandma's house to stay with cousin Crawford and Mason went to Granny's house. Mason has strep throat and needed to be quarantined. I am sure they fun where ever they were. On Sunday, we celebrated Granny's birthday and ate the Varsity and had cake. The boys loved playing at Great Granny's. They rode the tractor, found acorns, ran down to the garden and saw the creek. That wrapped up a great weekend and even the Dawgs won!

Cheeeeese!! Buie loves saying this. Such a ham!

Monday we went for a walk at the Chattahoochee trails. Mason would yell "Geeeeeeeeeese I'm here, I have food" several times with no luck, he then tries "Goooooose, come here"... no luck. Finally after tossing some trail mix in the river one goose and two ducks came to visit us.

Sunday it was off to have some more fun! These pictures are from Eastside Church. Mason loves to make friends with older kids...he follows/chases/jumps/hides/climbs/slides right along with the older kids as they usually are running from the evil Buie.

Mason and Buie played for at least an hour before his cousin Crawford, Grandma, and aunt Kelly came to join in the fun.

Okay.........so the picture today is of Mason going "pee" outside. Minus my mom's back side, it is of Buie watching Mason and wanting to do the same thing. He was pulling his shirt up to get to his pants. He didn't quite make it, but it was cute to watch. The boys played hard today, Vanessa came over all day while I worked and yet again Mason did not have a nap. Those days are not fun around dinner time, he usually has a meltdown or two.

One thing I have to mention that was so cute last night, was when we were putting Buie to bed, Mason said he wanted to sing him a song. So he sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star................it was too sweet and I wish I had had a video of it. Every now and then they can be sweet to each other. Buie wouldn't give Chris or me a kiss, but he did give Mason one.

Other than that, we have had a great week and are still recovering from UGA's loss.
