First day of school 2010

Well this is actually Mason's first day, Buie's was the next day, but he wanted to go with me to drop Mason off. Mason has come a LONG way from the days of kicking and screaming when we use to drop him off. Now he is trying to comfort Buie and tell him it's okay and not to cry that it's fun and that he likes it. So cute, but I don't think Buie is buying it, we will see. Buie's first day was a little rough, his teacher told me, but that he tried hard to be brave. All he could talk about was his friend "Ginger", well it was "Ms. Ginger" his teacher and she said he held her hand all day. He only goes twice a week, so it may take him a little longer to back into the swing of things.

"Look what I found"

I never get in pictures with my kids, mostly because I hate what I look like, but I thought this one was sweet and it reminds me of a picture my mom has of us with her when were kids.

Jacksonville Sprint Triathlon

Chris, my brother Jason and I all decided to do a sprint tri while we were at the beach. Well, my brother just agreed with no training at all, but is in rock solid shape to begin with. Chris and signed up two weeks in advance with very little training.

Here is Chris running out of the ocean on to get his bike. We did a quarter mile swim, ten mile bike and three mile run.

Well, Jason finished first (out of us), then Chris and then I finished, but take the time above and subtract 20 minutes. We were in the novice group and started 20 minutes after the first group. But....I finished! That's all I care about. I am very proud of what I did and am crazy enough to consider doing another one. Only time will tell.

Happy 1st Birthday Celie

I truly can't believe that she is 1!!! It makes me a little sad.....no a lot sad, but I know I have to get over the fact that she is growing and not a newborn anymore. She now has 7 teeth and is walking and almost running around. The only word she mainly says is "Mama" although she really loves her Daddy and brothers. Her little personality is blossoming every day, she's a pistol. I squeeze her so hard every day, I love her so much and am so glad she came into our lives.
