Pope Jr Wrestling 2013/2014
This was our last year that the boys could do “beginner” tournaments. You can only do those tournaments the first 2 years you wrestle. Needless to say the boys were very successful when it came to those tournaments. Mason, being older, had a tough time in some of the main tournaments because some of those boys had a couple extra years of wrestling on him and it make a BIG difference. Buie on the other hand, won Dixie National Tournament, which meant he is an All American. Already? What? Ok, I know he’s only 6, but man that is something I can’t even claim that title and I’m 36!
He didn’t stop there, he went on to come in 2nd in the state of Georgia. Very proud of both of these boys to complete another grueling season of the toughest sport out there!
