Hello from the beach! Here's just a glimpse of all the fun was are having down at the beach. Perfect weather and lots of babysitters are the key to a good time. Celie likes the beach so far, but tries not to put her knees down when she crawls. She is pretty fearless so far. As for Mason and Buie.....Mason is more brave than Buie, but both at least like the sand and ocean this year. We have come a LONG way from the days that Mason would not walk on the sand.

Warrior Dash 2010
Chris, Beau and I all did the Warrior Dash yesterday up in Mountain City, GA. If you are not familiar with what this crazy thing is, it's a 3.2 mile run with obstacles. We had to walk on water(boards on the water), walk through waist high water, run through a bunch of tires, climb a cargo net and back down the other side, climb an incline wall with the help of a rope, go through long metal tunnels, trail run up and down hills through the Forest, army crawl through mud under barbed wire, through waist high water again and jump over huge logs, and lastly jump over about 3' fire.... all while running. Whew, it makes me tired just thinking about it again. Sooooooo much fun and I never thought I could do something like that, but I highly recommend everyone trying it once. It's lots of fun and very rewarding. Beau is such a stud and just about sprinted the whole thing and came in 5th in our start time and finished in 18 minutes, Chris finished in 21 minutes and I finished in 25 minutes. We are such warriors and have a few scrapes to show for it, but that God that was all.

Chris "trying" to show how tough he is...
Eating this turkey leg just made you feel like a Warrior...

Here we are after the race...

Notice the stripes of blood across Beau's cheeks....it was blood from his knee. Tough, huh?

....and here is my future warrior! (Mason, in case you could not tell)

Guess who is pooping on the potty? I may be speaking too soon, but Buie has been going 4 days in a row with no accidents! I can't tell you how excited/relieved I am for him, me and everyone else involved. We will keep crossing our fingers and spare undies with at all times just in case, but I am so proud of him. To tell you the truth, he is so proud of himself too. He is very interested in all Celie's poopy diapers and every time I go to the bathroom and goes "mom! are you pooping?". It is so funny how a switch just clicked in his head on Monday.
On another note, I took the boys to go pick strawberries today with a friend of mine here from Texas and her little boy. We were to meet Kelly, Drew and Davis up there, but I somehow got lost and they were about done when we finally got there. The boys had a blast......it was like hunting for Easter eggs and for a while they wanted to pick everyone they saw. So I had to tell them only the big, red ones and they did much better. Buie had a small basket and Mason wanted the BIG basket of course. So now we have tons of the most delicious strawberries. It was a fun outing.

Today was the last day of school, which is too soon for me, but is that selfish? Of course, just this week Buie told me that he wanted to go to school and that he liked it.......go figure he said that the last week of school. On the bright side, he has come a long way. Remember that he cried almost everyday at drop off until Christmas and with a paci in pocket? So I was in charge of his party with another mom (she did most of it) and they all had tons of fun. Chicken nuggets, bubbles, water tables, and sidewalk chalk. Of course he did like it when he got wet from the bubbles or the water table, so it was a good thing I brought a change of clothes.
1st day of school this year
Buie had a blanket all to himself.....not sure if I should be worried that no one else wanted to sit next to him or if was so smart he spread out and took up the whole thing.
Making BIG bubbles
Buie playing at the water table and having a hard time sharing the water toys that brought for all the kids to play with. Ms. Kay in the background was his main teacher and his other teacher was Ms. Jackie(do have a pic of her), they were brave a patient soles to take on Buie in their class. Thank you for your patience.

Ms. Mary Ann and Ms. Julia
Today was the last day of school. Mason said he was sad it was over, because he wanted to still see Dane. It has become a bit of an obsession I am afraid to admit. Part of me thinks it's really cute, but the other side of me is a little worried. Oh well, what can I do? Chris went to Mason's party while I was at Buie's party. Not sure what they did other than I know they all got wet and had lots of fun. What a fun year Mason had and wow has he grown as a person, mentally and physically. We loved his teachers and hope we are as lucky next year as we were this year.

My baby is 9 months old...... and she is crawling, has 3 teeth, lots of hair, and says uh-oh! Oh yeah, and she doesn't nap very well, but she does sleep at night. I guess I have to pick and choose by battles. Her little personality is really starting to show and she is so much fun. Her brothers don't slow her down too much, unless they try and hold her hand (Mason) or pull her leg (Buie).
Don't mind the great big knife right next to her while she was taking a bath! There was a big cutting board between her and the knife I promise. She loves baths right now and balls.
Mason "has" to hold her hand, even when she crawls

Here are a few more pictures from the party.....

Buie taking a ride on a motorcycle
Celie loving the drum set he got....mom is not so loving it!
How cute is little Wade under this BIG guy?
Bumble Bee Transformer

Look at these Monster cupcakes a friend of mine did for me. Soooooo cute!

Buie loved his!

Buie's Monster Birthday party

Well it was fun and crazy, but a little old for a 3 year old . It was mini put put golf. Very cute, but I think if they were older it would have been more fun. I think they all had fun though, glowing in the dark and playing games. It is what Buie wanted, so it is what Buie got. Now when we got home to open all the presents, Buie wasn't as into it as Mason was. It was hard for Mason to understand that they were Buie's presents, but he kept saying to Buie that he had to "share"!
