Amelia Island, FL
We were lucky enough this year to go down to the beach with both my brother’s and their kids. It’s really hard to make the sun, the moon, and the starts all line up! The kids are all getting to such a fun age where they actually play with each other and are excited to see their cousins. There are a ton of pictures and I will not comment on all of them, so scroll through and enjoy our fun time at the beach!

Our 1st spend the night guest
Railey (Buie’s girlfriend) was our first spend the night guest. The kids were all sooooo excited.
They all watched a movie, had popcorn and got to stay up late (10pm)!
THen it was time to go to bed and Buie and Railey insisted they slept in the same bed. (I don’t think I am ready for this) Which I guess is still innocent. You see how we put pillows down the middle of the bed to separate them. It took them a while to fall asleep since they all were talking for a little bit, but my boys finally crashed and poor Railey just could not go to sleep, she was not tired. SHe might have fallen asleep around 11/11:30pm! Well we thought, that was pretty easy...........a no! We heard them on the monitor at about 4:45. They said Buie got up to go pee and it woke them all up. Well, that was all she wrote, they did not go back to sleep. We might have to wait a little bit for our next sleepover, until I can recover from that one!

Happy 4th of July
The Benich’s invited to come watch the fireworks at Lenox with them. This was a treat since we are never in town for the actual day of the 4th.
 Mason and Chris
 Kriya and Beau
 Celie, Buie and Mason
She should probably not have fire in her hands at this point in her life, but look at the view. We watched fireworks from all across the state.
We had a blast and you can even see some fireworks in the background from Centennial Olympic Park.

Blackland Ridge 3rd of July
We got together with some other families from our neighborhood and the dad’s planned it and of course got way out of hand on the amount of fireworks they bought. We ate dinner while it rained, then we went swimming at a different house and then all gathered in the cul de sac to watch the show the dad’s put on before the cops came!
Getting ready for the real deal a little later in the night.
Celie loved her huge sparkler!
 Here’s the main pyrotechnic
 a view of the pool
 and the show begins
I will say it was quite a show, but for some reason I couldn’t enjoy it, because I kept thinking the cops would pull up any minute.
The kids loved it!

Lake Nantahala
We have now gone for 7 straight years up to Lake Nantahala in North Carolina with some family friends. This is one of our favorite trips every year. The lake is the best lake I have ever been to, clear, quiet, refreshing, all the water sports you could ask for! Thanks Marilyn and Ben!
 Buie boy
 Oh no, it’s a hand!
 AKA Uncle Ryan
Mason on the surf board with Ms Sally (the professional ski instructor we have for the boys;))
 Boys being silly with Grandpa
 Daddy up on 2...
 ....trying to drop one!
Mason skied 3 or 4 times. Super proud of him, he is doing such a great job.
Buie was racked out after tubing and a long boat ride.
My little daredevil! “Mommy, I want to go fast!"
Our little Island Oasis provided hours of fun.
Buie out for his early morning ski with Ms Sally and Mr Ben. This was his first time getting up.
Mommy doing a little paddle boarding with Celie
 Daddy up on one!
I mean look at the scenery!
Mommy and Buie tubing.......we were trying to bump each other.
Mason liked skiing better than tubing and Buie liked tubing better than skiing.
Uncle Ryan and his friend Jeremiah had a bumpy ride
 Buie caught some air too.
 Daddy’s turn to bump Buie
One last turn on the tubes.
