Again, not my favorite holiday, but we did manage to make some cookies with the boys. There was a time when they did not like Grandma's famous teacake cookies.
Mason about to chow down on Valentine's cookies. (note: Chris iced the cookies)

This was the best batch we have made so far! (sorry Jay, they're gone already)

Well, I must admit I was not at all excited to go to the Monster Jam last weekend. I had no idea what to expect other than I heard it was going to be loud (well that was an understatement) and I expected to stick out like a sore thumb and wondered who would want to pay money to go see BIG trucks run into each other. Right? So, I figured I must go since my mom got us tickets (to the box, it's hard to go any other way now) and Buie really wanted to go, Mason was not so sure. OK, so my inner redneck (which you know you have too) decided to go along for the ride. I dressed the part as much as my wardrobe allowed and I had my earplugs in and drank my Budlight and became a huge fan of Monster Jam. It was so exciting, somehow, to watch these pimped out Monster trucks do their freestyle event and see how excited the crowd got. I had to get into it and cheer on trucks going over jumps and then eventually flipping over. Doesn't sound like me at all I know, but somehow Chris has brought the redneck out of me. You should have seen all the counties from all over the state of Georgia that were represented that night. It was a great people watching even as well and brought in all walks of life. Next year I may have to really dress the part and go in some kind of costume (only if they allow me back in the box).

Buie and Mason were a little over whelmed at first by the noise, but at the end it didn't even phase them. I must admit I loved it and I highly encourage anyone with boys to go to this next year.

We have put together a group of Chris' high school friends (with the help of Steph Buice) to get together once a month with or without kiddos. This was our first month and as you can see kids were invited. ( Not every month will include kids, it is up to the hosts). It was at Tijuana Joe's and organized nicely by Kriya. Chaotic, but tons of fun, especially since we did not bring Celie (I would not have had fun).
Kelly and I are holding Emmaline and Bree, who were too good to look at the camera.
Proud new Papa, Jay holding John Henry (mini me)
Here are a few of the 17 kids that were in attendance and some of the mommies trying to hold a conversation.
Clint and Hunter posing for the camera.

HAPPY 91ST BIRTHDAY GRANDDADDY!
My mom's dad turned 91 and we all went to have lunch and celebrate. Buie, Olivia, Walker, Mason and Frances. Celie was there, but of course she was acting a fool and would not get in the picture.
How amazing is this picture? My Grandfather with all his girls...count your blessings!

I hope he made a good wish, he sure did have lots of help. And lots of help eating it too.
