Happy Birthday Beau
So we went to Beau's birthday party this weekend, which was a corn hole tournament. We ate chili, drank a good bit and played corn hole. So much fun, but I was not on the winning team this year (thanks Clint!) . I will be practicing for the next one though. It was a little cold and I wasn't warmed up enough.....a little rushed and we played Beau first round (who has been practicing)so we didn't even have time to get in a rhythm. Anywho, Beau did not win either, but he did make it to the finals.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, which is not one of my more favorite holidays (lucky Chris). I don't want him to show me how much he loves me just ONE day out of the year.....I want him to show me EVERY day of the year. So I think it is pretty pointless Holiday and who has any money left after Christmas anyway? So, below are pictures of some shirts I did for a customer for her grandkids for Valentine's Day. That's what got me thinking about it...

Here we are with my mom, my brothers and their wives at the Falcon's playoff game (that we lost) before the game with big smiles and dreams of a super bowl. My brother with the jersey on flew in from D.C. just for the game. Crazy, yet dedicated fan and super fun if we win (not so much if we lose).

These top 2 are to finish of the first day of snow.
Pretty in Pink
Super dad!

And here we jump to the second day of fun in the snow, well maybe not for everyone.
We took the kids and Beau and Wade to Atlanta Country Club to do some real sledding.

Everyone's happy....

Don't ask how we ALL got there......or just don't tell!

Here goes Chris with all 3 again.......
....semi crash landing, but really more emergency stop to not go in the creek.
Buie was yelling how awesome that ride was to Wade and that he should go down

W-A-I-T......oh no! Buie was tired of waiting for Chris and Beau to go ready loading up for the next run and he took off by himself. There was a oment of panic from all of the adults as Buie could have hit that tree to the right, but thank God he didn't. I just happened to be at the bottom to catch a picture of his perfect run. ( I really should post the picture just before this of Chris running with Celie trying to catch Buie from going down the hill)

Now here is how Wade's ride went.......
....poor kid can't even see where he's going.....
....love Beau's face, he knows Wade is miserable.....

Yep, I think that was his last run for the day. He cried the rest of the time and wanted Mommy and to go home. I can't say I blame him. Beau's shoes kept hitting the snow (or ice) and it was spraying up in Wade's face and he didn't even know where he was going. Maybe next year!

Now here's how you do it fellas....
...or maybe not! At least I protected the baby.
And she loved it and wanted to "ride" more! That was all she would say..."ride, ride, ride"

Now, here's how you do it! Buie had a blast you think? Not sure how Chris felt!

Snowjam 2011

Weeeeeeee
Here goes Buie for a ride on the zipline my dad and Pam gave the kids for Christmas. After about 2 hours of installation in the freezing cold, my dad and Chris got it up and running. It needs a little tightening, but for the kids weight, it's good to go.
Mason loved it, especially when it got really fast. Not sure about how safe, but they sure had fun!
I promise he's not that scared....he loved it too.

Celie on the other hand took it easy on the swing.

Let it snow....
Since we had a white Christmas, the kids got to play in it the day after Christmas. It was hard to pull them away from their new toys, but here's proof....
I can't believe that we actually put all 3 of them on a sled and pushed them down a hill! Certainly not the brightest thing we have done, but all went well and Mason stopped it before they went in the street.

Ho Ho Ho
The boys checking out what Santa brought them...
Buie was so excited about all his transformers he got. ( too many and he has never seen the movie)

Miss Priss playing with one of her new toys. It did not take long for her to get the hang of Christmas and tearing through all the gifts. Really she just wanted to open everone's gifts and didn't really care what was in them.

more presents?
proof she wanted every piece of paper off the toy and then she would throw the toy aside.
Resting at Grandma's while watching a movie with Tom

back to opening presents and Mason racked up 3 new wii games. Now we can't get him off the thing!
