HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!
I must say, I am exhausted! I am more tired after all this weekends activities than I was after my triathlon. Getting the kids dressed and ready to go, get to where ever we are going and then doing the activity.....I feel like I ran a race. And I had lots of help! Enough about me, I think the kids had a blast this weekend and will be on a sugar high for weeks to come. This was Celie's first go at trick or treating. She wasn't sure what to do at the first house and after the nice lady gave her a few pieces of candy she grabbed a few more. At the second house, after they gave her some candy, she just sat right down with them and started to go through her bag and pick out some candy to eat. It was hard to convince her to keep going, but she did and then she was starting to get the hang of it. She kept telling everyone bye, so we took a long time to get down the short street we took her on. Mason on the other hand was flying from house to house and we had to try and convince him to slow down and help Celie and Buie and Wade. He didn't get that we would all go to the same amount of houses no matter how fast or slow we did it.

Oooo, scary!

Friday night we took the boys to the Halloween Hike at Chattahoochee Nature Center. It was super cute and I think the boys really enjoyed it, as did I......they didn't get any candy....it was great.

Here we go....off to see all the creatures in the woods.
After the walk, they had live animal displays (opossum here)

Here we are at Atlanta Country Club for their Halloween party. I can't believe we got them all sitting and semi-looking in the same direction. Charley, Buie, Mason, Wade, Celie, Maggie and Bree.

Mason's birthday party at Monkey Joe's. All year since he turned 4 he has been asking for a bowling party and then when it came time for me to book a party he said he wanted it at Monkey Joe's. So that is what he got, of course, how can you say no? He had a blast from what I could tell. Buie tagged along with Mason and Celie stormed around like she owned the place. She chased Monkey Joe until he turned aound and then she didn't want anything to do with him, it was funny.

Even Monkey Joe came out to see everyone.

Another busy weekend! To start out, Mason and Buie had karate on Saturday morning, well actually only Mason participated. Then we dropped Celie off at Grandma's to "watch" the Georgia game or really take a nap and we all went to my soccer game that I played in with Julie and Beau to help out Beau's friend. Other than losing, it was fun. The boys played in the woods during the game and we took them to get ice cream afterwards. It was at a cute place in Chamblee served out of a caboose.
Kriya worked hard during the game watching all the kids while holding Bree, so she deserved a double scoop of ice cream!!
After ice cream an actual train went by and Wade was in love, while my boys had to cover their ears.

Look at the excitement on Wade's face!

After ice cream we took a small break from the Benichs and then reconnected for dinner at their house, which is toy wonderland. The kids had a blast and went to bed very late as usual.

Sunday, Aunt Kelly and Uncle Parker to us to go see Disney on Ice for Mason's birthday. Of course we had to have cotton candy to add to our weekend full of junk.

These hats came with their cotton candy and they were so wired that we could not get a good picture of them.
I had to put this one on here.

Then we went to get lunch and have a picnic in a parking lot to watch the Blue Angels which was really cool.

Mason loved running around following the jets to see where they would come out of. Buie was a little over it after the first few jets went by. They didn't quite understand that you can't see this sort of thing everyday. Oh well.
Then we went straight to Maggie's birthday party. Super cute, dress up, paint, candy hunt, face painting, eating cake party.

Buie and Wade (in his one eyed monster shirt I made him) exhausted from a long weekend. Check out how dirty Buie is...he played hard!

Buie made my day last night.......I was holding him and he looked at me and said, "mom, I still like you." Well, my heart just melted, but then I thought, one day he will probably not like me when he gets too cool for Mom, so that made me a little sad.
Celie's 1st black eye and I am sure not her last!
Happy Birthday Granny

Another busy weekend.....October is so much fun. I think we had the same "great" idea as the rest of N. Georgia to go to Burt's Farm to get a pumpkin on Saturday. Wow, was it crazy? The kids had a blast as you can see, running through the huge pumpkins, going on a hay ride and playing in the creek.
This makes it look like no one else was there, but it was tricky getting no one else in the picture.
Mason and Wade chasing eachother through the pumpkins.
Celie, checking out the pumpkins, which are about the same size as she is.

Loading up for our hayride
