Well.......we did not have such a fun weekend last weekend. Just take a look at the pictures and you will see why. All I can say......is thank God the boys were not in the car!!! Chris and I were heading home from and Christmas party at around midnight on Friday night and oh so close to home, out of nowhere we were nailed by a car. I was driving (I had no drinks) and minding my own business and as I approached a neighborhood entrance (where I did not have to stop)there was a car (silver Acura sedan) flying out (I would say around 30 mph)of this neighborhood and never touched the breaks. I had about no time to react and only could turn a little bit, before we got creamed. He totaled my car! We were both wearing seat belts and both of our airbags went off thank the Lord. I believe his car was totaled as well. He was arrested for DUI and the passenger went off in the ambulance. Oh.....it was about 35 degrees too, that we were standing in for about an hour to an hour and a half. The nice policeman gave us a ride home in the back of his car ( I guess the only way I would ever want to see that). We are fine, but a little banged up to say the least. I have no car and we still do not have the police report. I am sure this will take forever and be a huge headache. Please be careful this holiday season with all of your Christmas parties!!!

It's been a while...........and we have been busy!! TO pick up where we left off, we went to Chris's brother's house the weekend before Thanksgiving. Chris I went to a wedding in Savannah and the boys stayed with Grandma at the farm. After that the boys and I went to the beach for a couple of days. Don't be jealous, because we were all sick the whole time. No fun to be had at the beach. Then we were back to the farm to spend Thanksgiving with Chris's mom's family. The boys had a blast playing on the farm. Straight from south Georgia, we went to Athens to go see Frances and Olivia (my brother in San Fran's kids)(twin girls that are 3) at their birthday party. Oh did the boys have fun jumping and sliding? So much fun, Buie got pink eye from it. Then we had to deal with that sickness for about a week. Not fun putting drops in his eyes!!! He had to miss his first day of school.

Mason and his cousin Crawford had a party at the Kanga-Zoom this weekend. Mason had been looking forward to this day for a long time! He ran around like he owned the place. After the party we stopped by Grandma's house and both Mason and Buie were still wound up and did not want to take a nap. We then went home and Mason finally got to open his presents (with lots of help from Buie).

Well, Mason's birthday was on Monday and he turned 3! He and Buie of course went to school and Mason got to celebrate with his class. The girls that come clean our house came that morning and got there before the boys left for school and gave Mason a Lightning McQueen red car and of course couldn't leave Buie out. So they gave him a blue Lightning. Well they both were so excited, like they didn't have any CARS toys, but THESE were from their favorite people, Vanessa and Erika, also their babysitters.

After school "ZZ" came to pick them up and watch them for me because I was still a little under the weather. That was a life saver! Later that afternoon I brought the boys home and we celebrated Mason's birthday......we had pizza, ice cream cake, and opened presents. Poor Mason did not feel well and wanted to go to bed, until we told him he could open his presents. Well, a second wind, he loved all the toys he got and did not want to stop to go to bed. But, it was the BIG night for him to sleep in his big boy bed. He did it! No problems.

It made me a little sad that my baby was moving out of his crib. He's getting so big!

This weekend was a little crazy. It started off with Chris's sister having a baby girl on Thursday afternoon. Then.....early Friday morning(3:30a.m.) I ended going into the ER at Piedmont because I thought I was dying. Ended up that I had a kidney stone. So, when then let me go, we went upstairs to go see the baby and I ended up sleeping in their suite for half of the day, because I did not react well to the drugs. Mason and Buie ended up going over to my dad's house, because my mom was keeping them and did not feel well herself. (What a mess we were) I finally made it home to rest a little bit more and then it was time for the boys to go trick or treating. Chris and Parker took Mason, Buie and Crawford to a party in our neighborhood. They had a blast collecting candy and being dressed up. Some of those pictures are on here. I was not able to make it to any of the festivities. I would write more, but I am still a little foggy.

Wow what a weekend!!! Mom and I did the 3-Day Breast Cancer walk. (60 miles) We started out in the freezing rain and walked from North Point mall to somewhere in Johns Creek. Because of the rain, they relocated us to an empty office park and we got to sleep in a warm, dry office building. Much better than the cold rain, but there was a lot of snoring going on. Day 2 we started from camp and walk all around Duluth and it was a gorgeous day. Cold to start out, but warmed up to 70. That night we spent the night at camp in pink tents. I really thought I was not going to be able to walk the next day. My shins, calves and blisters on one foot hurt so badly. I iced and massaged them and took some meds and went to bed in hopes I would feel better in the morning. After a chilly night (but we were warm in our sleeping bags), I woke up and was definitely sore. The more I walked, the better I felt. So we started walking from Chamblee on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. Somehow my pain was masked with the excitement and adrenaline of the last day. We walked all along Peachtree and even Mason, Buie, Chris, my Dad and my Step mom, kept on thru Buckhead to Piedmont Park for lunch and then to the Congress Center for the finish. I can not express in words the feeling I had to finish the walk with everyone (spectators and finished walkers) cheering you on to the very end. It was very powerful! I highly recommend everyone does this walk one time in your life. It is an indescribable feeling. Enjoy some of the pictures from the walk.

I know this was all about me, but Mason stayed with my dad and BUie stayed with Chris and then his mom.

Mason had a funfilled weekend..........he went to see Disney on Ice on Friday, went to a Ga Tech tailgate and football game on Saturday and then came out to cheering us on before going to Church on Sunday.

Another busy weekend for the Crawford boys. Saturday was the Fall Festival at their school. So many things to do...........they jumped and jumped and jumped some more in the bounce houses. Each time you went in was one ticket (= $1) and you could jump for a few minutes. Well, near then end of the day, Mason jumped for about an hour in one bounce house. He was the only one in there and so they let him play forever. So we cheated a little bit. Mason and Buie and Crawford (cousin) all rode on the ponies, they looked so cute. Check out the pics below. Buie like it so much, he cried when he had to get off and just stood there and watched them go round and round.

Later that afternoon, we went to a birthday party. The boys loved it and just kept running around their pool. A little scary for me, but they had fun. Then off to my dad's for dinner. The boys had fun playing with Oliver, my stepbrother's dog, making smores, and chasing Grandpa. We stayeda little too late and the boys did not get to bed until 10pm. Because of that, they did not wake up until 10 the next day.

After a lazy morning, Chris took them to Grandma's to play with Crawford. They even got to watch the jets flying over from the airshow at Dobbin's. I am sure they had a blast. ( I was not there) On to the next event after Buie's nap..........was dinner at the Gale's. Again the boys had fun playing, but here they played with a bunch of girly toys. They were a little out numbered. Then it was home, bath and bed after their fun filled weekend.

On your mark...get set.....here goes Mason, Parker and Crawford!!

This past weekend the boys were separated and stayed at different houses. (Chris and I went to Athens for the weekend) Buie went to Grandma's house to stay with cousin Crawford and Mason went to Granny's house. Mason has strep throat and needed to be quarantined. I am sure they fun where ever they were. On Sunday, we celebrated Granny's birthday and ate the Varsity and had cake. The boys loved playing at Great Granny's. They rode the tractor, found acorns, ran down to the garden and saw the creek. That wrapped up a great weekend and even the Dawgs won!

Cheeeeese!! Buie loves saying this. Such a ham!

Monday we went for a walk at the Chattahoochee trails. Mason would yell "Geeeeeeeeeese I'm here, I have food" several times with no luck, he then tries "Goooooose, come here"... no luck. Finally after tossing some trail mix in the river one goose and two ducks came to visit us.

After the playground, the boys were off to Grandma's house to get some bug-huntin' in before dinner.

Sunday it was off to have some more fun! These pictures are from Eastside Church. Mason loves to make friends with older kids...he follows/chases/jumps/hides/climbs/slides right along with the older kids as they usually are running from the evil Buie.

Mason and Buie played for at least an hour before his cousin Crawford, Grandma, and aunt Kelly came to join in the fun.

Okay.........so the picture today is of Mason going "pee" outside. Minus my mom's back side, it is of Buie watching Mason and wanting to do the same thing. He was pulling his shirt up to get to his pants. He didn't quite make it, but it was cute to watch. The boys played hard today, Vanessa came over all day while I worked and yet again Mason did not have a nap. Those days are not fun around dinner time, he usually has a meltdown or two.

One thing I have to mention that was so cute last night, was when we were putting Buie to bed, Mason said he wanted to sing him a song. So he sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star................it was too sweet and I wish I had had a video of it. Every now and then they can be sweet to each other. Buie wouldn't give Chris or me a kiss, but he did give Mason one.

Other than that, we have had a great week and are still recovering from UGA's loss.

Well......it's been a long weekend. Started off Saturday.....Mason was at dad's all day and spending the night, so he was taken care of.......Buie went for a run with Chris and me at the park in the morning, then we hurried to get ready for the day, took Buie to Susan's for mom to pick him up, then we were off to Elwyn's to pack up for Athens. We had a great ride up to Athens with Tommy's friend from Alabama (die hard) and got a great tailgating spot next to Annie and Mather (Matt White's friends). They had t.v.'s, tent, music, we had lots of food and were having fun. All until we got to the game and watched Georgia get their tails kicked. Have to say, that was not much fun to watch. Oh well, we made our way back home and got to bed around 2:00 a.m.! Thank goodness we did not have the boys and were able to sleep in until around 10:00a.m. After Buie was droped off, Chris and Buie and I went to my soccer game at Terrell Mill. Buie was an angel, playing with Chris while I played. To be honest, I think Buie had no idea I was there until I went up to him at half time. Then he didn't want to leave, but it was nap time. So while I finished up with my game, Chris went home to put Buie and Mason down for a nap, because we had a birthday party to go to at 4. I hate doing it, but I had to wake them up to get in the car to get to the party an hour late. Once we got there, Mason and Buie had a blast. They had a bounce house and you could not get Mason out of there. He was the only boy and the youngest and he had a blast. Buie even got up the courage to bounce a little bit when it was empty. Then it was home, bath and bed, since the boys have school tomorrow. I am wiped out too. I don't know how many more game days I can do. My body can't take it like it use to!

The picture of the day was taken at the Marietta square. A train came by and Chris ran to show the boys, but they got a little scared by the noise. You can tell the excitement in their faces in the picture. We met Chris at the square, where he got a hair cut (neither of the boys were interested in getting theirs cut) and then we had lunch at the Marietta Pizza Co. Buie was so worn out that he fell asleep in the car on the way home, but Mason "had to go pee". So, when he says that, you have to pull over and go where you can. Oh the convenience of boys is wonderful, we pulled over on the side of the road and I let him go right there. Then home for naps, including me today.

Not too much has been going on the past few days. The boys had school Monday and again today. They are getting better, but still are not huge fans of school. On Tuesday, Vanessa came to play with them while I was able to get some work done. And of course we had dinner at Grandma's house last night. It was Tuesday night!! The boys got to play with Crawford and Julie. It's always an interesting night when you get 3 boys together under the age of 3.

Mason's way up high in the thing that shoots out balls at the playground. He got a little scared once he was up there.

TGIF! I had a wonderful day. Vanessa came to watch the boys while I went to the consignment sale at Mt Bethel, then I did a little shopping at the Avenues. After I felt bad about spending money, I went and worked out. (I will be very sore tomorrow) Then to the grocery store and back home to let Vanessa go home. Granny came over and we cooked out and she helped me do some sewing, while the boys played with Chris and managed to destroy the house. The boys then took their second shower of the day and off to bed they went.

Mason thinks he is sooooo big.
