Happy Father's Day!
Here's to the most perfect dad out there that I know of! Chris is the most perfect dad I have met. (other than mine of course) He will spends hours with them with whatever it is they want to do, play baseball, play wii, build legos, go the park, watch movies, sing them songs before bed(learn new songs the boys want him to sing) whatever they ask him to do, he does it! He is soooo patient with them, where I am not so much. He makes sure all their meals are just right and have all the food groups, where I will give them fried bologna and cheetos and call it a meal. He will take all 3 of them to the pool by himself or the playground, where we all know how crazy Celie is, but Chris is Mr. Calm! He does things and takes them places I would never dream of doing, just because I think it is too hard. Taking 3 to the grocery store is not what I call fun and he doesn't even bat an eye at it. I am the luckiest mom to have a husband like him.....he makes me look good. Most women say they need a wife to help them get everything done, well I don't because Chris picks up more than his fair share! Happy Father's day! You certainly deserve it and our kids will one day realize what a good thing they have. ( he must have had a good teacher!)

We went over to my dad's house to celebrate my dad with my brother's family and my step brother's family.
Looks like dad may have had too much of what's in the bottom of the picture! He was getting a little cocky of his bar tending abilities.
Celie and Walker both wanting to do some cleaning! I wonder who moon that battle?
Sweet.......
....not so sweet! She dumped all of her food on the floor during their picnic.

Walker wore his ice cream well
Only little kids can run while eating ice cream
Cheers to all the dads!
Do a little dance! How low can you go?

Muddy Buddy
Here is a pic of the group before the race. So, this race you do with a partner and while one is biking the other one is running and they both do obstacles along the way and at the very end they both go through a mud pit together to finish the race. For some reason they all picked green so they could find their partner (not planned). Hamp, Katie, Beau, Josie, Drew, Jay, Clint and Chris
Beau is such a sweet partner to hold up the rope for his partner!
Here's Chris and Drew coming over the wall and getting ready to enter the mud pit
Not as neat as Beau and Hamp
I hope they threw these clothes out!

Now this is the way you go through a mud pit gentlemen! I love this picture, this should go on their website, well done boys!
I thought Chris' clothier were dirty......sorry Sarah and Amanda.
Here is the group after the race!
Yet another award. Chris and drew got 2nd for their age group and Beau and Hamp got 2nd for theirs as well. Crazy!

Zip zip zip from tree to tree......
Here is our fun group from our Wheeler Family club that went zip lining last weekend at Lake Lanier. There were 11 of us and 2 guides. So much fun, you've got to do it! We had a lot of people that a fear of heights that even said they loved it. It was super safe and very fun, especially going over water.
Julie (Chris' cousin, me and Kriya) The best part is when I asked Julie if she wanted to come with us to Lake Lanier, she said sure and came ready to go in her bathing suit, cover up and flip flops. "Do we need active wear for this?" she asked. I had to laugh.....and then told her what we were doing, which I obviously had not told her what she would be doing. She thought she was coming with us to Lake Lanier to help with the kids at the water park. Oh boy, was she in for a treat! She was a trouper to go with our group (that she did not know very well) and conquer her fear of heights. I am proud of her and sorry that I did not explain it better to her, but she had fun I think. ( I haven't heard from her since)
Chris going backwards over the water
my turn!
We had to wear a lot of gear, but it was all worth it!

Summer fun begins!
Celie loves riding the mini 4-wheeler, she just doesn't quite know how to steer yet.
Looks like trouble X's 2! Some body's getting wet.....
What? Oh, he sprayed himself in the face!

What a good sport Buie is........just wait until he is bigger than Mason.
Did I mention that we cut all of their hair off! I know, I know, but it was sooooo hot about 2 weeks ago and I sat um down and gave Chris the clippers and said go for it. Mason cried the whole time and Buie was very brave and didn't shed a tear. I know they must feel cooler now.
Buie almost 2 years ago....
Mason almost 4 years ago...
And then there is Celie! Look at all of this hair! No one will let me cut it! It's driving me nuts, but I know just a little bit longer and I can pull it all back. She has got to be hot, I know how it is.
I guess all of my children are blessed with a lot of hair, but I miss my boys' long blonde curls! Those last 3 pictures are each of them at about 2 years old.

It's race season!
This past weekend, Chris, Jay and Beau all went up and did a triathlon at Lake Lanier at the last minute. Of course he asked me if I wanted to do it, like any sweet husband would and I politely declined his invitation. (I have shin splints) There were about 1,000 people that did the race and Beau finished 5th (even after he had a wreck) and Chris finished 19th (3rd in his age group). Jay is still working on some things, he just got his bike a month ago.
Nice work Beau!
Can you see Chris back there at the finish line? Don't worry about the guy in front about to die.
And here comes Jay!
Beau and Chris get a medal just about every race! Pressure is on now!
Good work boys!
Roswell Triathlon
We did the Roswell triathlon since it was so close to home and "only" a 10 mile bike. Well it was my first one of the season and it was no easy 10 mile course......it was up (and down) Holcomb Bridge Rd which I never had noticed how hilly it was before. Anyway, we both did it, Chris got an award, (I didn't), and Beau and Ragan did. It's so fun that a lot of our friends have gotten into them to, thanks to Beau introducing us to the crazy world of triathlons. I am glad when they are over, but when I am about to start the swim, I often think, "what in the hell am I doing". I guess we are just trying to have fun staying active and trying to get fit as we age!

Gainesville Triathlon
Here they are again getting an award.....I promise they are not the only ones doing the race! Beau's are legit, Chris's are mostly in the Clydesdale division, which is over 200lbs, which is his barely, but Beau keeps making fun of him. So, the last one they did (Lake Lanier) was the first one he did not in weight class, but by age group.

Warrior Dash!
We went up to Mountain City, GA to do the Warrior Dash with some friends. It's a 3 mile obstacle course. Swim in dirty water, run through 100 tires, while climbing over cars, climb over 4ft walls and then under barbed wire (about 5 sets), climb a 30ft wall, through a dark tunnel, crawl through mud under barbed wire and jump over fire to name a few. Lot's of fun and something everyone must do once.
Pre-race......notice we are clean!

Chris and Drew did the Tough Mudder, which is another obstacle course run, but it is a whole lot harder and I will never being doing it. It's half a marathon, but running while you are all muddy and up and down hills. This one does not sound like fun to me, but very impressive.
