Happy Easter!
Our first egg hunt this year (other at school parties) was at my dad's church on Saturday. As you can tell here, Celie was not too fond of the Easter Bunny. Buie could not be there because he had a baseball game.
This was her first official egg hunt. It didn't take her long to figure it out, but she would walk past about 10 eggs before she found one she wanted to pick and then.......she saw a little girl sitting on the ground going through her eggs and Celie saw that there was actually good stuff like candy inside and it was over. All she wanted to do was open all the eggs and eat ALL the candy.

Now to the eating part!
They got to pick a "prize from the table if there was a tag in their egg that said "prize", well this is what Celie picked out! An Easter bonnet.

Egg hunt #2
Now we are at my dad's to celebrate Easter so we can fit in all the Grandparents. It's almost as bad as Christmas! We came home with way too much candy. I will say Mason came home with a lot of change for his piggy bank too.
Mason's calling an egg he wants...
now they're getting the hang of this...
...where's the next egg hiding?
...it's a race for sure!

Egg hunt # 3, 4 & 5 at Grandma's
Celie was not sure of some of these eggs, they looked funny to her. They were shaped like animals, rocks, stuck to windows and it threw her for a loop. Poor thing, she was getting the hang of it and now this!
Mason was not slow about anything this day. He loves an egg hunt or race for that matter. He found the golden egg!
Caddie, Buie, Mason and Crawford (I think Celie was actually asleep for this hunt) The kids wanted to do more hunts so we kept hiding them for them, some empty and some with money. They started to get smart and leave the ones behind that didn't have anything in them.
Welcome back to the party Miss Priss!

and they're off again....
Crawford was "hot", but Buie snuck in....
look what I found! He was SO excited, but at the same time Crawford was devastated!
I love this picture....Buie was consoling Crawford and telling him how to look for the Golden egg. "If you see something BIG and shiny.....that's it! I'll help you look!" I guess Buie didn't know that there was only one per hunt.

Egg hunt #6 at Granny's
Eager to get to the real reason all the kids are there....they know there is an egg hunt!
Celie was a little confused......this hunt was a little more challenging than the previous ones.
Mason off to his usual start....a full basket and eventually the Golden egg here too.

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY BUIE!
We had Buie's 4th birthday party at our house and is was a super hero party. But if you really know Buie it should have been a super villain party, but how much fun would that have been? No one would have had costumes to dress the part ,but Buie loves a villain.
Batman and Robin even made on appearance.
Buie was Spiderman and he did not want to get out of costume even though it was pretty hot that day.
Supergirls Charley and Bree
Celie was nothing in particular, just in her tutu. Plan was for her to be napping during the whole party, but you know how that goes!

We even had a zipline for the kids to fell what it would be like to be a super hero and fly through the air. Seemed like a good idea until Davis Marshall fell after about his 5th time down and broke his arm in quite a few places. I will never forget that and I am sure his mother won't either.
Haley taking a turn on the zipline.
Crawford concentrating so hard.
Gabe looks like a natural super hero
Even princesses can fly!

Chris and Buie playing their parts. Buie told Chris after the party that he thought it was cool that he (Chris) dressed up as Batman for his party.

I think he was really happy! After I took this picture Buie said, "mom, I love you1!" I mean melt your heart.
The whole fam dressed up. (Miss Priss was finally asleep and missed the picture)

Playing at the park
Buie and Celie watching 1 duck that came to see us, too bad I forgot bread!
Of course he slides down into a ton of dirt, I guess we were the first ones there that day. It just wouldn't be Buie if he didn't get dirty, kind of reminds me of my brother Andrew.

Take me out to the Ball Game...well at least my boys can sing the song. We can't say much else for baseball yet! The boys aren't loving it like some of the other kids, but at least they are out there and giving it a try. Mason is on a 5-6 year old team and Buie is playing on a 4 year old team. Mason has about 2 practices a week and at least one game a week and sometimes 2. Which I think is a lot for little guys at that age, but who am I? I will say he is getting better. For the first 4 games he had to hit everytime off the tee (you get 5 coach pitches and then they bring out the tee for you) and in his last game (which of course I missed) he hit it off the coaches pitch. He got 2 hits that game and for that he got the game ball, which he was very excited about.
Looks like Mason is loving baseball huh?
Or maybe getting a little bored out in right field?

Now, here is the fun stuff, scoring!
