Father's day was so much fun. We took the boys to the pool with my dad and step mom. Their pool has a slide and diving board, which Mason now loves! He has gotten so brave now and swims all around by himself. Wow, have we come full circle since we started swim lessons in March. Even Buie now swims around on his own (with backpack float). They are so much fun at the pool now. After the pool, we (mainly Chris) grilled out for my dad for Father's Day. And of course we had to catch some lightning bugs after dinner. What a busy day, full of lots of fun memories. Enjoy the pictures below.

Since we have been home from the beach, we have been going to the pool a lot. Mason and Buie have come full circle when it comes to swimming. If you all could have seen them at their first few swim lessons (buie the whole time) and see them now........you would NEVER believe what they are doing. I wish I would have taken pictures of the progression. Mason not only swims all around the pool by himself (with his backpack floaty on), but just toady he went down the water slide and off the diving board all by himself. we were all in shock. He did great! Buie, when we started swim lessons, screamed and cried and never really got in unless Chris got in the pool and then would have the death grip on him. Now...........Buie loves to swim, but still cautious and wants to hang on to some part of you, but wants to jump again and again off the side of the pool. He will even jump in and and go under the water. I am telling you, these are 2 very different children from a month ago. Private swim lessons did wonders for our kids and we highly recommend them. So we are finally home! I am not complaining about going on vacation, but it's not going to feel like a vacation for a long time. At least as long as we have little ones to take care of and until Chris can afford to take off 2 weeks to come and help me. Being 7 months pregnant and trying to watch, entertain, feed, bathe, etc. 2 wild and crazy boys under 4 was a bit of a challenge. Now that we have been home for a little bit, of course I am ready to go back. The boys really got comfortable with the beach and were having a blast playing on the beach and in the ocean. Our last pictures are of our last visitors at the beach.....cousin Crawford. He was a little scared of the beach, but after watching Mason and Buie having so much fun on the beach, he opened up and had some fun. We will miss Amelia Island until next summer..........
