Happy Thanksgiving!
We went down to Cottonham. That is Chris's Grandma's farm down in Register Georgia. The boys love to go down there and run around, ride the 4-wheeler, see the cows, etc. There were lots of us down there, I should have counted, but it was somewhere around 30. We had beautiful weather, thank God, and Parker planned lots of activities to keep the little ones entertained. (or maybe to keep himself entertained, he can't sit still) It was nice to slow down a bit, there wasn't much to do down there. Mason did go on his first hunting excursion with Chris. I am sure Chris wasn't thrilled when Mason said he wanted to go, because that probably meant they would not see anything and who knows how Mason would behave. Mason told him not to shoot anything..........umm, isn't that the point of hunting? He will learn one day. He did keep calling it camping! The food was delicious and the company was fun, but I will say I am glad to be home. We were only there for 2 days, but you would never have known it by looking at our car. It looked like we were going to be gone for 2 weeks. The pictures below will tell their own story of our little trip.
Aaahhhhhh. how refreashing it is out in the country!
Mason is soooo excited to be down at the farm (aka, uncle tray's house)

Mason 1st time hunting. He and Chris went and sat in a deer stand for a couple of hours in the cold and dark. What a trouper he was. I don't they saw anything though. I am sure Mason was too loud.
Our campfire on Thanksgiving night. Parker was activities director for the weekend and he did a great job!

Uncle Parker is so much fun!
This is the best picture we could get of al 5 of them!

The boys loved this "real" 4-wheeler. Just a little bit bigger than their Spiderman ones.

The boys were a bit sick of taking pictures at this point. We took over 300 pictures in 2 days.

Gobble! Gobble!
Turkey for a baby girl
Turkey I did for Mason

Turkey that Kriya picked out

These turkeys are super cute, (I think) but they take a long time to stitch out. I put these together from scraps of fabric I had around here. Now, not to be read by the faint of heart...........tonight while stitching, I stuck my hand under the machine while it was stitching to try and straighten out a piece of fabric and I got my first sewing injury. The needle went thru my finger nail and out the tip of my finger. WOW, that was painful. I was afraid to look at it, so I just kept it iced and squeezed it to death. I am sure it will hurt tomorrow.

Play date with mommy!

Oh what to do with 3 kids on a rainy day? Well, we went to the playground 1st thing this morning, because I knew the rain was coming and they would be stuck inside the rest of the day. It was a perfect day to go to the playground, because no one else was there and it hadn't gotten cold yet. The boys had fun running around a bit and then we had to leave because it was time to feed Celie. SO we ran by my dad's house to feed her and then we were off to go ride the pink pig at Lenox. So, it was cute, but not much to write home about. I never did it as a kid (or at least that I can remember), so I had no idea what to expect. The only good thing was the we were almost the only ones there. If I had had to wait in a long line to ride "that", I would have been a little disappointed. I think the boys had fun though. After the pig, the boys went off with Maizie for a couple hours and then back home. So tonight Mason invited his first friend over to our house to play. You know all the other ones (play dates) have been set up by me, but this one he asked for and wanted Chris to call Mr Beau and Mrs Kriya to see if Wade could come over and play. It was really cute and he was so excited. Wade is 20 months old and Mason is 4 years old (48 months)! And most play dates are during the day, not this one, it was at 7 p.m. Thanks for coming over Wade, Mason and Buie had a blast!

Here is just a few of the over 500 pictures we took the other weekend. I tell ya, it was a challenge to get all 5 of us not only looking at the camera, but semi-smiling and looking decent. There are too many funny/cute ones to put on here, but enjoy the ones I posted.
