Mt Bethel Sports

So, along with baseball this Fall, Mason & Buie are playing flag football for the first time. This year it just so happens to line up that they are on the same team for baseball as well as football.

 (Thank the Lord!)

 Here is Buie making a run for the end zone. (never quite made it but he played well)

 Buie and Mason ganging up on this kid to take his flags.

 Buie sure did try hard to get a touchdown and was so bummed that he didn't make it in the end zone. 

Celie was being a little grumpy as usual

  now it's her turn to finally play something

 I haven't done the best job at preparing her for soccer, so she had NO clue what she was doing. 

 She even got a turn in goal...(but check out the ball in the back of the net)

 Slowly she started to get the hang of it and even scored a goal!

 I guess she doesn't quite have the drive that I did. I scored 12 goals in my very first soccer game at the age of 4! 

 Grandpa had high expectations that might need to come down a little bit!

 Celie loves that Mary is on her team.

 There might have a been a little teeny bit of pushing, but not bad.

Boosterthon

 And Buie's off....to run his 35 laps, so he can collect his pledges he asked for. (That is the tortuous part. Asking for money) The running is the easy part!

 Luckily the playground was right next to the "track" Buie was running on. 

 Celie was very proud of her Booba.

 Mason was in charge of running out first for his class and carrying the class sign.
