What a pretty day it was today......the calm before the storm! The boys played all day with Grandma and even went to the Nature Center. They have a blast there and come back talking about all the animals they saw, they even came home with some new treasures Grandma bought them. How does that always happen? When they come back from being with any of their Grandma's they return home with something new. Suckers! When they got home they wanted to play baseball. If you only knew how hard Chris has been trying to get them to "want" to play baseball.....he usually has to bribe them. Uncle Andrew gave them the perfect gift, ESPN, Better Batter Baseball and if you have boys you need to get this thing. (well, girls can play baseball too!) The boys love it and they are really good at it. Mason actually said he wanted to play t-ball this year, but I having a hard time finding a place for him to play. Do they have a league for 2 and a half year olds, because Buie Crawford is really good at this thing too? He has a knack for sports and has pretty good eye hand coordination.

Celie was a good girl while the boys were playing outside, but I can't say the same for the rest of the day. She is cutting teeth, so I can't say I blame her, but the many ways I normally sooth her are not working and she was fussy for most of the day. I hope she sleeps through the night as she did not drink her last bottle of the night. Wish us luck! (oh I hear her crying right now)

After playing so hard it was time to help make dinner. They loved getting to put their own topppings on the pizza.

Mason wants to take on everyone that comes in our house, so beware of Mason when you enter our house. He will beat you sometimes too....right Jay? and Jonas? Can you get Wii scholarships to school? It may be taking over his life and we might have to start limiting his playing time.... although he does jump around a lot and is getting some exercise. At least that is what makes me feel better about letting him play so much.

Well not much has been going on around here except all Mason wants to do it play Wii and all Buie wants to do is watch The Grinch. I find one more disturbing than the other.......Buie wanting to watch The Grinch! I know he doesn't get the story and all sees is how the Grinch behaves and probably thinks it's okay....... if the Grinch does it, he can do it, right? He has told us he wants to be the Grinch for Halloween next year and Mason needs to be Max(the dog) and Celie needs to be Cindy Lou Who. How cute would that be, huh? Well Mason said he not a dog......he's a boy. Well don't forget 2 years ago, Mason was a dog.....Scooby Doo! We shall see.

Snow Day! No School!

Yes, we did get snow and yes, they cancelled school for this. You folks from D.C. (and everywhere else for that matter) would laugh at what we got and how people down here reacted. Oh well, it is fun to see for a little bit and then I get over it rather quickly, it's cold! The kids finally wanted to go play in it this morning after looking at it through the window for a while. They were not so sure what it was or what you do with it....until......Chris showed them snow balls!! Then they had some fun, well....after Buie cried when the first one broke into a million pieces. He didn't know it was going to do that, but once he saw we could make more.......it was back to fun and games.

Mason was so excited to go play in the snow, but if you recall last year, he was not so brave. He said it was too cold, so he did not play in the snow last year, but he's a big boy now

We took the family to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens today to go see the Holiday train display and to ride the big choo, choo train outside. I must admit, this was not my bright idea to go do this outside activity on one of the coldest days yet....it was Kriya's. JK Kriya, thanks for asking us, we had fun! So there was an indoors small train and then there was an outside ride on train. Both were so cute and the boys loved both of them. I of course wanted to look at all the plants, but only really got to look at the orchid house, since that is where the Holiday train was set up. And then we started off the year not on the healthy note that we wanted to....we ate lunch at the Jr. Varsity. Again, not my idea, but I did not object.
