"The Dentist", Fred & the skeleton with a heart.
The boys had to run off all the sugar they ate. They were CRAZY!

Celie hung in there until the bitter end. She was an angel.
Well a soggy Halloween it was, but it didn't stop Mason and Buie from trick or treating. It slowed them down a little bit, but they got their candy! Mason was Shaggy and Buie was Scooby Doo and Chris was Fred, they were so cute. I should have dressed up, but somehow I ran out of time and did not get my costume. Mason wanted me to be Daphne. Granny, Grandma, Julie, Beau, Kriya and Wade all went trick or treating with us. We had a blast, but boy was I glad when we got home and could dry off and warm up. The boys had too much candy and not enough dinner, but hopefully they will sleep well tonight. Gotta go.......Celie is screaming for me! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Quote of the day from Mason, (after mommy was getting mad at them): "I didn't open my ears today......maybe in the morning when i get up, i will open my ears." I was telling them to open their ears and listen to mommy when she talks. I tried not to laugh when he said it.

Okay..........I have finally started a blog for my monogramming business. It will be a work in progress and I will try and update it as often as I do something new. Check it out under Mandy's favorite links. www.froggiesgifts.wordpress.com
Buie quote of the day: "Daddy's a guy, Daddy's a MAN, Daddy's the Muffin man!"
I wish you could hear and see Buie saying this with his lisp.......he keeps Chris and I rolling.

Preparing for Halloween..... Mason and Buie carved a pumpkin with daddy......made ghost and pumpkin cookies with daddy.......and now they can't wait to wear their costumes and go trick or treating. They are at such a fun age right now, getting so excited about holidays and birthdays. It doesn't take much to getting these little guys going. I think Mason finally gets what is going on now. Chris had been awesome this week. He took the boys to the store in nothing other than their favorite transportation.....daddy's jeep and let them each pick out cookie dough and m&m's to decorate them with. The next night he patiently carved our "small" pumpkin. And then Saturday, he is going to (God forbid) miss some of the Georgia game to take them trick or treating.
Wow! He did it. (notice the "great" pumpkin next to it)

"Mom, could you stop taking pictures?"
We had our pictures taken today in hopes of getting a good one to use for our Christmas card. You never know what you will get, Buie was pretty good about smiling, but Mason thought he was cute and made all sorts of faces that were not Christmas card worthy. We shall see.
Below are a couple of pictures from the not so successful Fall Festival at Mason and Buie's school. It was very cold, Celie was not happy, Buie did not want to do any of the events and the boys had about 30 minutes to play before we had to leave to go to Athens for Caddie and Crawford's birthday party. Good thing they had a big jumpy slide the whole rest of the day. We got there at the end of the party, but had the jumpy thing all to ourselves. The boys had a blast and fell asleep before we got the highway.

Quote of the day from Buie Crawford:
"Mommy, Mommy, go away, come again some other day. Mason and Buie want to go out and play" (from Rain, Rain, go away.....)
I am not real sure how I should take this........personally or just a 2 year old being creative with a song.

So here are my first 3 attempts at applique. What do you think? The options are endless, it is all up to your creativity. Which I don't think I have much of..... the truck was a challenge, but I thought it turned out pretty cute. I need to get some more fabric scraps to practice with, I was working with what I had.
