I took the boys to play at Southern Prep on Monday with Kriya, Sarah, and Ragan. They love it there and get worn out, which is great for me! After there we went to my Granny's for lunch with my brother and his twin girls. They were all so cute there too, I wish I had pictures from that, but I don't.
Then came Tuesday.....I had my doctor's appt and she told me she may want to take me early next week. She is concerned about all the contractions that I am having. So, that stresses me out a little bit, but I am still trying to hold out until next Friday. Everyone is helping out with Mason and Buie, because it seems as though I have way more contractions when I am watching them. So, yet again I have pawned off my children to whoever will take them. I will keep you posted on anything that comes up, but keep your fingers crossed I can hold out until Friday.

Caroline's birthday party

Today we went to a little birthday party for my niece, Caroline, who turned 1. The boys had a blast playing with all their cousins, Frances, Olivia, Tyler, Davis and Caroline. After the party we went to the pool for a quick dip and then home for dinner. THe picture of the boys above, is Mason reading to Buie while I was getting dinner ready. I wish I had sound on the picture, because listening to Mason tell Buie what was going on was too funny. Such a sweet big brother.

On Saturday, Chris and I took the boys to play at Monkey Joe's. They love it! Actually it is better for Mason tan Buie, but Buie still managed to have a good time. My mom met us there, so I actually didn't have to do that much but put my feet up and watch them play. They got some great exercise for about an hour then it was off the spend the night with Granny. Chris and I are so spoiled (but not complaining) with our kids spending the night out with grandparents most weekends. we are enjoying every bit of it and know that times are about to change. (can't wait)

No boys tonight, or all day for that matter. I went to work before they were up and then Chris took them to camp, then Grandma picked them up from camp. They spent the rest of the day and night with her, while Chris and I went to the soccer game at the dome. We had lots of fun, but I miss my boys! I won't get to see them until after camp tomorrow. I am sure they have had a blast with Grandma though!

Everyday Mason and Buie beg to pick blueberries in our backyard. If you don't have a bush in your yard, you really need to think about planting one or two. It is so much fun to pick them with the kids. They get so excited and thank goodness they love blueberries. We usually can't eat them fast enough, so Chris likes to try out some different recipes and this morning he and Mason made all of us pancakes. Mason loves to help cook! After breakfast, Chris took the boys to the playground since it was such a nice cool morning and then we all went to the pool for what we thought was going to be a refreshing swim......well it was freezing once you got wet and Mason was not too happy. We some how got them to stay for a couple of hours though. THen it was home and they BOTH took naps, which is rare. We even had to wake them up at 6pm!! Perfect timing, because then Grandma came over for dinner and Mason had been asking all day when is Grandma coming! What a fun weekend we had. Yesterday, we went to Athens for Madeline's birthday party and then to spend time with Crawford and Caddie. We did not get home until 9:30, but it was fun visiting and letting the boys play. Mason and Buie were so sweet to Caddie and very interested in her. Thank goodness, because we have less than 3 weeks to go until baby? is here!!!

Today was the first day of 10 days of camp for Mason and Buie. Mommy is going to be in heaven and will hopefully use her free time wisely!!It is at Mt Bethel, where they go to school and is from 10-1:30. Well, Buie picked up right where he left off from school......he cried and screamed when we dropped him off. Mason tried to tell him not to cry that mommy always comes back to pick him up!! So sweet, but Buie did not seem to care or reallt listen to Mason, eventhough Mason was right. Hopefully after 2 weeks of camp he will get over it. Mason was excited and did great. I am so proud of him, he has come a long way and is so brave.

This past week was a little busy to say the least. My brother from San Francisco moved back with their twin girls, that are Mason's age. They were trying to get their house ready, so we got to play with the girls lots and below is one picture of the 4 of them that we some how captured. The pool pictures are from a party that Chris's friends gave us for baby #3. It was a lot of fun and the boys had a blast swimming and playing with Uncle Frank. One scary thing happend though...... after having dried off and eaten their pizza, Buie and Mason were sitting on the edge of the pool splashing and playing (without their backpacks on) and being very good and suddenly Buie went to grab a ball out of the pool and he fell in!!!! Well, I saw it happen and was sitting close by and moved in what seemed like slow motion and jumped in to pull him out. He was working hard to get to the surface, but never did and thank God I saw him and had time to jump in. That was one of the worst/scariest things that has ever happened to me and I hope no one ever has to go through that. It can happen so fast!!! Other than that the party was a blast and thank you to everyone that put it together and to everyone that came.

Watch out Uncle frank!

Buie and Mason better watch out now!

The dog days of summer.........trying to stay busy and stay cool. I try to get a little bit of work done every chance I get, but the boys obviously still need supervision. In the pics below, Mason and Buie got into a box of stickers and stuck them all over the house and themselves. I couldn't get mad at them, they looked too cute and I "should" have been watching them. I guess it could have been worse. The water pictures were Chris's attempts to water the plants and Buie couldn't resist sticking his head and then whole body in the sprinkler. This was after we had been to the pool. Mason never would have gotten wet, until he saw Buie doing it. Buie is such a bad influence on Mason.
