Well, what a fun night it has been.....I am affraid I do not have a picture to go along with what went on, but I am not sure you want one. The kids played most of the afternoon at my dad's house and they all behaved ( I was told) and were in good spirits. Came home ate well, played, took a shower and when I went to put Celie to bed......well she threw up. I think it was the first time she has thrown up, well, it wasn't the last. We cleaned out her bed and remade it and put her back down, for her only to throw up again. Well, this went on for at least 6 times. By the last couple, she was back to her original bedding (it had been washed and was dry to be put back on). Thank God, because we were running out of sheet toppers and pj's for that matter. The last few times have not been full blown throw ups, just some dry heaving, but enough to wake her up and make her cry. For those, we just wipe her down, flip her over to the other end of the crib. How bad does that sound? It really isn't enough to change a whole crib out or change her pj's again. I feel so bad for her and I really hope none of the rest of us wake up in the morning with this funk. Wish us luck!

Happy Thanksgiving from Cottonham
Grandma got all the kiddos these bright orange vests so we could find them.
Uncle Parker taking the kids (minus Celie) for their first 4-weeler ride. He was our director of activites for the weekend.
Now, it's Chris's turn to take them for a ride on the golf cart. Do you think they are having fun?
Girls only! Aunt Kelly, Caddie and Celie helping to collect wood for a little later

Buie and Crawford helping gather wood for our bonfire....

Celie, gathering things to cook with.....

Mason, Buie and Crawford having egg on the spoon race...
.....and just a plain old foot race

Mason and Buie went hunting with Chris and Crawford went with Parker. Unfortunately, I don't they saw any animals and mostly played on iphones, but at least they went and dressed the part.

This was the best we could do....like I have said before, it's hard to get 5 people looking good and at the camera at the same time.

Cooking was one of the many activities the children love to do down at the farm.

Mason and Winton taking a break from all the festivities.
I mean.........please! How cute is this? On a hay ride in front of the house!

A brief moment of Celie and Caddie being friends....

.....no, wait.....it looks like Caddie might take her down....
No, they really got along for the most part, just not when Celie kept taking Caddie's dolls and learned a new word from her cousin..."MINE"!

Julie taking the boys on one of many rides on the 4 wheeler
Celie LOVES her Uncle Parker.....he is so much fun and took her for rides down the slide many times.

The Grow family: Parker, Kelly, Crawford and Caddie

Even Grandma went down the slide......

The Godfrey family: Elwyn, Julie, Tommy and Tom

Here I am trying to hold Celie back from running into the bonfire. She loved it.

Happy Birthday Grandma! Surprise!

Kelly and Susan's sister, Elwyn had a surprise birthday party for Susan at Relish in Roswell. I was in charge of getting her to the restaurant. Not easy to do........we had to lie to Susan the whole time, which is very difficult to do. Well. I just chatted the whole way there and when I pulled into the new restaurant, I just said, "didn't Kelly tell you we changed the location?" She just went with the flow and had no idea until the elevator door opened up into a room of all her friends. I think she was surprised and a little overwhelmed. Good work everyone for keeping it a secret!

(the skinned up nose came from Grandma's house, because she won't sit still)
Busy is what you can call us right now! I don't even have time to pull out my camera to take pictures and I know that is the whole reason you are reading/looking at my blog is to see pictures of what we have been doing. Well.....I will tell you.......
Mason's turned 5 and we took him to Chuck e cheese......we had a wonderful shower for some friends who are expecting their first baby, which was great to get me motivated to clean my house up a little bit (now it has gone back to a mess again).......my steph brother and his wife had their 4th baby (which we had nothing to do with, but fun to mention)........took Mason and Buie to go see Toy Story 3 in the movie theater.........went to Athens for Crawford and Caddie's birthday party.........took Mason and Buie to go see Megamind at IMAX......took Celie and Mason to Dr checkups and they both had to get shots (fun)........took the kids to the playground the other afternoon and it started to hail on us........and shuffling my kids around to drop them off to whoever will take them, because I have been soooo busy (not complaining) with work, that I can't get anything done unless they are gone. It's bad when Buie says, "mom, where are we going today and when are you coming back to pick us up?" Guilt!! I want to play with them all day, but at the same time I HAVE to get this work done, because people want their stuff yesterday! Not to mention, I just got and email with 61 more orders today......who knows what tomorrow will bring!

So, I will try and post the few pictures we do have from the last couple of weeks, but they are on Chris's phone and I have do idea how to get them off and we don't see each other right now, so I can't ask him. That sounds bad.....we see each other some, usually when there are screaming kids around and I can't think of what I want to talk to him about. He is doing boot camp right now and goes to bed right after the kids, while I stay up and try and get some work done while there is some peace and quiet (other than my machine making noise). Tis the season I guess and I am sure it will only get busier!

Crawford and Caddie's 2nd and 4th birthday party!
Caddie and Kelly
"Cotton Candy Cassie" painting Caddie's face. Of course my kids did not want their faces painted.

Here's Celie going down the slide. They slide was a huge hit.
It was a gorgeous day and a perfect party! Jumpy slide, face painting, balloon making and the Varsity for lunch.
