Summer 2013
Started off with our summer hair cut.
Show off her skills at Granny's
A visit with Great Grandmother before she moved to Plains, GA.
(Check out Celie's face)
 Road trip to Mississippi
Pool with cousins and popsicles from Grandpa
Another rare sunny day to go swimming (with Wade)
Went to cheer on the Braves with some boys from Buie's summer ball team.
Not only catching, but picking up "ghost" crabs at the beach.
Vist Stone Mountain with Granny and Shea, Railey and Maysie.
Mason getting his balls ready to shoot someone!
 Oh! At mommy!
 Back at ya!
Buie and Railey taking their turn shooting people. Team work!
Celie and Maysie reading the map for us.
Did I mention it rained? That is an understatement!
So we gave the kids some glow sticks to play with to keep them busy for the long rain delay.
 THey had a blast
 Mason getting his glow on
Finally the Laser show! Still the tiniest bit a rain coming down, but we sat through it.
The kids (and the adults) were exhausted.

My baby is 4!!!
So Celie turned 4 and every bit of me did not want to throw her a party. If you know her at all, you know how badly she behaves and I did  not think she deserved a party. But the softy in me, because I didn't think she would really understand the message I was trying to send to her, so I gave her a tiny, yet perfect party.
She and about 6 of her friends went to go get mani/pedi's and then some yogurt at Yogli Mogli.
Emmaline
It was the perfect day to do it, since all the big kids had their first day of school and the little ones had a few more days off.
Charley
I'm not sure at what age they get it, but these girls love to get their nail done!
Mary
Except Bree! SHe would not do it, so Kriya did hers, thinking Bree would follow, but not so fast. SHe dug in her heals and would not do it.
Bree
 Granny
 Maysie
Grandpa even showed up. (I mean daddy didn't even come)
 All but Bree
So the yogurt was her "cake" and she loved it.
 Mommy
Cute little girls growing up way too fast!
She was so excited to open her gifts (not so excited to write thank you notes)

So to extend her birthday even longer, she was invited to spend the night with Bree. THis was her first spend the night out!! SHe has asked for a while now, but she has not been ready. And nor was she ready this time, but thanks to the persistence of Ms. Kriya and Mr. Beau she finally fell asleep. Not for long though, as Kriya sweetly slept next to her all night to make her feel safe. Can't think of a better place for her to have her first spend the night party.
 She loves "baby" Bree.
 She had popsicles
 and went swimming

We didn't think she would want to come home

Pancake breakfast the next morning by her Godfather and apparently all she wanted was pickles!

Happy Birthday Celie!

First days of school

Celie started her Pre-K year at Mt Bethel. For some reason I'm not yet sad about it. I think it is because there is a slight possibility that she would do the young 5's program there since she is so young for her grade.
 Such a big girl
She went right in without out any hesitation. (unlike her brothers)
The boys on their first day. Our fun neighborhood had a donut breakfast for them.
Mason, Buie and Jake
We actually woke Celie up to go to this. Just in case she woke up and could not find Chris or I in the house and I thought she would enjoy seeing what the BIG kids do. Of course she was happy seeing her BFF, Mary. (It was her birthday the day the boys started too)
Buie wanted his picture with Boss
The group just keeps on growing. Next year, Cade, Mary and Celie should be added to this bunch. We might need out own bus for our neighborhood!!
My handsome boys. No tears this year!
Buie has come a LONG way. Proud of you Boo!

Triathletes!
Mason and Buie did their first triathlon this weekend. They were in the 6&7 year old division and Maggie Weeks( a friend) was in their group as well. Wade Benich (another friend) was in the group just below them. It was a 50m swim in a pool, 2 mile bike and .5 mile run. All on a very HOT day! Just like their first wrestling match, we basically threw them to the wolves and said here go try this and they did. And they did awesome and said they are ready to do another one! So proud of them.

Maggie, Buie, Wade and Mason showing their numbers before the race.
Getting ready to start. Do you think they look nervous?
 Mason's off!
 Buie right after him.
I think it helped that they were right after each other.
Mason running to transition to get his bike.
 Away he goes
 Buie's not far behind.
Do you think we need to get them new bikes??
Their bikes look tiny now. My how they have grown!
Can you see them way back there. This was part of the run course that was on the other side of the street. (they had to go up and over a bridge to get across)
Here comes Mason to finish. (Buie is a spec in the background)
Seconds later, Buie finishes. ( He actually beat Mason since Mason had
a 15 sec head start, but it was close)
 Officially triathletes!
Their loyal spectator. Along with Frances, Olivia, Walker and Granny!
Here comes Wade. He ended up winning his age bracket! Following in daddy's footsteps.
Way to go boys!
