So, Santa left a note for the kids before they went to sleep and Shag (our elf on the shelf) flew back home for the year. THe note read something to the effect of He lifted his powers on Shag and that each kids could hug(touch) Shag one time each before they put him back in his spot before he made one last report to Santa. OMG, this was a huge hit at our house. Our kids loved this and were stunned that they could actually touch him and that they would still get gifts. Very cute and they are already asking when does Shag come back!!! (boy do they have a while to wait?)
