TELLURIDE 2014
So this was our view out our back door. Come on! Why would anyone want to come home? Oh yeah, our kids were back home!
So we were fortunate enough on a lot of levels. For one, that we were able to rent this fabulous condo a block from the Gondola and that backed up to the river and mountainside. We then were fortunate enough to find 3 other fabulous couples that wanted to join us. And then the most fortunate part was that we were ALL able to change our flights to leave Atlanta a day earlier that we had planned, since an ice storm was to come into town the night before our trip. All of us have little kids and some how we ALL got them squared away. Once we were able to skate out of town, we had one last obstacle and that was to find a place to stay on our extra night. Once again, lady luck was on our side and my connection to the condo pulled through and it was open the night wee needed it and didn’t have to move places. Ahh, so nice!It really took so many pieces to fall into place to make everything work out the way it did. Thank you to all that made it happen so easily.

Chris and me on the ski lift up. We had just gorgeous weather and even better luck with no one being on the slopes.

Since we had an extra day out there, we decided to go snowmobiling one morning. We had a blast! Chris has a need for speed!!! I do not, but I did feel very safe with him at the controls.
