Triathletes!

Mason and Buie did their first triathlon this weekend. They were in the 6&7 year old division and Maggie Weeks( a friend) was in their group as well. Wade Benich (another friend) was in the group just below them. It was a 50m swim in a pool, 2 mile bike and .5 mile run. All on a very HOT day! Just like their first wrestling match, we basically threw them to the wolves and said here go try this and they did. And they did awesome and said they are ready to do another one! So proud of them.

 Can you see them way back there. This was part of the run course that was on the other side of the street. (they had to go up and over a bridge to get across)

 Seconds later, Buie finishes. ( He actually beat Mason since Mason had

 a 15 sec head start, but it was close)
