Wrestling 2014-2015
I am always so glad when wrestling season is over! I have mixed emotions about it, I know it is a wonderful sport and it is “building character”, but at the same time it is grueling. Long practices, longer tournaments most weekends throughout the winter. I will say that I am beyond proud of both Mason and Buie for competing this year. Mason started off by saying he was only going to do practices and not only ended up doing some tournaments, he qualified for State! Buie wanted to wrestle this year and did very well in a very tough weight class, being on of the youngest kids in it. He qualified for State too and did very well.

Snow Days
We only had a few snow days this winter, but it was enough for me. I do like a day or two of snow so the kids can play in it, but then I want it gone.

Father Daughter Dance
Sope Creek had it’s first ever father/daughter dance this past weekend and Celie was lucky enough to be able to take her daddy. I was lucky enough to be able to volunteer and capture some pictures. Such a cute, special, fun night!

Molly, Celie, Mary and Maysie (who will get to go next year)

Dancing girls

Celie found her friend Virginia Miller (5th grader) and had to twirl with her too.

She even danced with her daddy. (not too cool yet)

Check out the dads

She is already getting on stage singing and dancing. Uh oh!

Celie lost her first tooth

I took Celie to Home Depot to do a craft project.
(We were supposed to have friends meet us there, but they didn’t show up Shea, but we had fun doing this together)

Here’s the box she made

Basketball
What a fun season it was this year, they were both on the same team and we had our friend Tom Wideman as their coach. They both really loved playing basketball and have improved a ton since last year.

From these pictures, it looks as though they had no teammates, but of course they did.

LuLu Crawford
Meet the newest member of our family, LuLu. We got her from a breeder in Alabama just before Christmas. She was our gift to the kids;) She is very well loved and is getting along with Boss nicely.
